Crazy Week
This week has been nuts! From preparing for the release of the first Taylored Kit, to teaching a class at the scrapbook store, to hosting an American Idol party last night, my week has been jam packed! On top of all of this, Jon has been out of town on business since Sunday. I miss him so much and I’m realizing how much he does for us. I forgot about trash day yesterday and the laundry hasn’t been done for a long while. I’m almost out of underwear which says a lot since I own a gazillion pairs of panties! lol. I’m having a friend stay with me this week which means I haven’t had a lot of time to stamp. I did have a few minutes on Monday night to stamp something for the Dirty Dozen challenge, but then two things occured. One… I went to take a picture of my card and my photo studio bulb burned out. I didn’t have an extra one so I placed an order right away, but of course they’re on backorder until the end of the month. Bummer! Two… I went to take a picture the next morning in natural sunlight and realized that I didn’t even adhere to the challenge requirements. We weren’t supposed to use rhinestones or any dew drop type embellishments. Ummm… do you see all those rhinestones on my card!? lol. So this doesn’t meet the challenge requirements, but I thought I’d show it here anyway! The A Muse owl image is colored with Copic markers and the sentiment is A Muse as well. The patterned papers are Prism Island Mist Light, Suede Brown Medium, and Razzleberry. The Dotted Diamonds backgrounder is from Cornish Heritage Farms and I used a Spellbinder’s die to cut and emboss the heart. Thanks for stopping by today! Tune in tomorrow for Cupcake Friday and a fun cupcake challenge announcement!
