Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #25

Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! Right now I’m at CHA scoping out all the new products, but I couldn’t go without a cupcake on Friday! For today’s cupcake card I grabbed my Cuppacakeabella, Prismacolor pencils, and gamsol. I took the color combination from the American Crafts patterned paper… I used Prism cardstock in Frosted Teal, Sunflowers Medium, and Blush Red Dark. I added some tiny twinkles as cupcake sprinkles and some Red Liquid Pearls to the cherry. I also decided to add some Caribbean satin ribbon at the last second. I hand0drew the frame around the image and the sentiment is from Verve Stamps. Now let me

introduce you to the Featured Cupcake Sampler this week! You probably remember Donna’s clever and cute Numnum Cupcake card from last week? She did it again with this cute creature cupcake card pictured here. Love the little free cupcakes sign… who doesn’t love free cupcakes!? You can check out all of the details about this card and the rest of Donna’s work on her blog Serenity in Stamping! Now it’s your turn to try the sketch! I’ll chose the most clever, creative, and cute creation from the submissions this weekend to be the Featured Cupcake Sampler next week. Your design and blog will be featured on my blog during Cupcake Friday. One random winner will also be selected from among all the participants to receive 2 Prima popups tags, a few acrylic stamps, and some other goodies that I happened to overbuy (I tend to do that a lot!). lol

You’re not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got ’em why not use ’em!? 🙂 You’re welcome to create something other than a card, just stick as closely to the sketch as possible and you’ll be eligible for the prize drawing and Featured Cupcake Sampler honors. If you’re uploading to Splitcoast use keyword TECC25 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 25). Leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog post or gallery upload so I can check it out! You must have your cards uploaded by Monday, July 21st at 8am PST to be eligible for the prize drawing. I’ll announce the winners on Monday afternoon when I return from CHA!
