Home sweet home! There’s nothing better than falling asleep on your own pillow after being away from home. I arrived yesterday afternoon and went straight from the airport to the office. By the time 5:00 arrived I was just too tired to do much of anything. I had such an excellent time at CHA, but it
was physically, mentally, and financially exhausting! If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time you’ve probably realized that I’m not much of a picture-taker. I often forget my camera and even when I don’t forget my camera I forget to take pictures! So it was really no surprise to me when I returned from CHA and found a total of ten pictures on my photo card. LOL! And you’ll never guess what all the pictures consisted of… cupcakes! They seemed to be everywhere at the show and I just couldn’t help myself from snapping photos of the papers, embellishments, and displays of cupcakes. I didn’t want all of you to miss out on the delightful sweets so I put together this cupcake collage. *grin* Speaking of cupcakes, thank you all for participating in the Cupcake Challenge this weekend. Your cards turned out so cute! I love adding circle embellishments to my cards and many of you interpreted the sketch to use other embellishments like Primas, Taylor Tots, etc… lots of inspirational ideas! The Featured Cupcake Sampler honors go to Denise (a.k.a. peanutbee and Dirty Girl extraordinaire)! You can check out her adorable card here and stop back on Friday to see her sketch sample for this week’s challenge! And the random winner of the goodie package this week is Deborah from The Phippsonian Chronicle. You can check out her cute card here! Deborah, email me with your snail mail address and I’ll send out your goodies! Now… on to sharing about the fun products that are coming soon to Taylored Expressions!

Have you all heard of The Ribbon Ring? I love this ribbon storage solution. It will be perfect for taming those piles of ribbon we all accumulate and it’s so simple! You just string your ribbon through the slots in the plastic card and attach them to the ring. Depending on the width of your ribbon, one card can hold several lengths. Then you just add the card to the metal ring and it keeps your ribbon visible and un-tangled. The inventor of the ribbon ring uses a separate ring for each color… perfect organization and it looks pretty too!
Have you seen that VersaMark pads are now coming in two new colors!? They’re called VersaMark Dazzle in Champagne and Frost and they add a beautiful built-in shimmer to the watermark pad we all love. I can’t wait to test the results with different techniques like chalking and embossing.

Do you remember those candy dots that you used to eat as a kid? Or was I the only one? They came stuck to a piece of paper and were more fun to play with than to actually eat. Well, Pebbles, Inc. is bringing back those memories with their new Candy Dots embellishments. They look good enough to eat, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I would recommend them as flower centers, faux brads, cupcake cherries, etc. So fun! I can’t wait to get these in the store!

And last (for today at least), JustRite Stampers released 32 new products at CHA! The transformation of the JustRite booth this year was amazing! They have all new packaging… cute colored monogram stampers and too many new products to tell you about in one day! I’ll start with one of my favorites. There are going to be two new fonts to use with your monogram stamper! They’re called Brayton (a very classic font) and Trompe (a more elegant font). One of my favorite things about the new fonts is the storage system. Each layer of letters clicks together easily with a logo cover to finish off the top. With each set of fonts you’ll now receive the complete alphabet in three different sizes… 95 pt., 50 pt., and 25 pt., a set of numbers, punctuation, and several images (swirls, flourishes, brackets, etc.). The whole 296 character font set will retail for only $19.95 and will be available at Taylored Expressions in just a few short weeks!
I have sooo much more to share with you, but that’s all the time I’ve got today! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
