August Divine Design
Memorizing scripture has been something I’ve committed to doing this year. I’m so thankful that Lori Craig came up with the idea for these Divine Design challenges because I have made time to memorize so much more of the beautiful scripture in the Bible. Writing out each verse by hand helps me save it to memory much more quickly. I decided to make this little spiral-bound book to write down some of my favorite verses. My mom shared one of her favorite verses with me yesterday. It really spoke to me as I continue on this creative journey so I decided to make it the first entry in my book. It’s 1 Peter 4:10:
What really strikes me about this verse is what it doesn’t say. It doesn’t say “If you received a gift…” it says “whatever gift you have received”. We have all received gifts from Him… special and unique and it is our responsibility and privilege to use those gift to glorify God. That’s it from me today! Jon and I are heading to the Angels vs. Yankees game this afternoon. I’m looking forward to an afternoon of fun and sun at the ballpark! No Dodgers Dogs at Angels stadium, but I’m sure I’ll find something just as good. 😉 Don’t forget to check out the Cupcake Challenge below! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!Paper: Wanted (Cosmo Cricket), Cryogen WhiteAccessories: Spellbinders Tag Die, Chocolate Twill, Chocolate Pearls (Kaiser Craft), Carla Craft Binding System, Bitter Chocolate 9mm coil
