Stamp a Sweet Impression – RELEASE DAY
Happy Friday, Happy Cupcake Day, and Happy Release Day! The entire Baker’s Dozen Design Team and I have some fun things to show you with the last of the three releases, Tag Treats. This set is full of sentiments that I’ve always wanted to capture in rubber… the Snowman Poop poem, Snowman Soup, Christmas Cookie Exchange, and more! They were designed for use with the Taylored Tag Bundles available for purchase separately at Taylored Expressions. The tags are available in three new Choice Cardstock colors: Bright White, Natural White, and Buttercream. The new Choice Cardstock is my personal favorite for use with Copic markers. The cardstock is also available in packages of 20 – 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheets for just $3.00.
Now for the fun part… the projects we all created using Tag Treats! I picked up this yummy smelling candle from Target and thought it would be perfect with the ‘Warmest Wishes for a Glowing Holiday’ sentiment. The storage box was already a pretty green color with a kraft colored bottom. So I just added a strip of patterned paper around the outside to cover up the logo. Then I stamped the sentiment on one of the tags (along with the Christmas star from Home Sweet Home) and added the swirly organdy ribbon and pink rhinestones from the
Christmas Key Ingredients. I couldn’t stop with just one project so I took out the Snowman Poop stamp to try another Tag Treats project. I cut the Square Self-Closing Box out of heavy acetate to store the marshmallows. The self-closing box is now available in heavy acetate so you can create the same Snowman Poop for the “naughty” people in your life. They’re sold in quantities of the 10 and you can check ’em out here! The tag happens to be the same width as the box so I made a small pouch to hold it and adhered the pouch to the front of the box using Sticky Tape. I think this little box of Snowman Poop would make a great stocking stuffer! You’ll notice that the Tag Treats set is about half the size of the other SASI stamp sets. Although the smaller sets are not designed to be stored in our enclosed binder
box, they also have a great storage solution. I know many of you like to use CD cases to store your stamps. The Tag Treats set is still printed with a full-color index and fits right inside a CD case! The perfect space-saving solution! The rest of the Baker’s Dozen have chosen their favorite Tag Treats sentiment and designed a fun project so make sure you check out their blogs for more ideas: Denise Marzec, Sharon Harnist, Donna Baker, Stephanie Hargis, Jami Sibley, Carol Halvorson, Ana Wohlfahrt, Laurie Schmidlin, Terri Dodd, Jen del Muro, Charmaine Ikach, and Monika Davis.
There are three sets being released today: Season’s Sweetings, Home Sweet Home, and Tag Treats (pictured from left to right). The two larger sets retail for $21.95 each and the Tag Treats set retails for $12.95. This includes a color printed index and binder-ready storage for the two larger sets and deeply-etched rubber images mounted on cling cushion and already die cut for you! The design team has been showing you some cuteness over the past few days using elements from the Christmas Key Ingredients also available today:
The Christmas Key Ingredients is only $16.95 and includes 12 sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock, 20 sheets of 6″ x 6″ patterned paper, 5 yards of coordinating ribbon, 1/2 oz. glitter, and 2 packages of Kaiser Craft self-adhesive rhinestones. Everything was specially selected to coordinate perfectly for your batch of cupcake cards. For those of you who say “I Want it All!”, you can get it with one click of the mouse with the I Want It All Item. This package includes one of each of the three stamp sets, one Christmas Key Ingredients, and one Tag Bundle. Just a couple more things to keep your eye out for while you’re shopping: Tag Bundles, Acetate Boxes (used above in Snowman Poop project), Mini Binder Box Storage, Choice Cardstock, Kaiser Craft Pearls, Zva Creative Crystals, Candy Dots, and so much more!
