JustRite to the Rescue!
I needed a gift for a friend who is celebrating her birthday this weekend so it was JustRite to the rescue last night! I picked up a few things in the Target $1 Spot that I had in mind to alter for this quick and easy gift. The first was a cute polka dot magnetic notepad. I removed the magnetic part of the notepad and used my Carla Craft Binding System and 9mm Marigold Coil to create a spiral bound notebook (FYI: you can still view the video I created on how to use the Carla Craft Binding System here). I used one of the polka dot pages from notebook to decorate the front cover. Then I added some 5/8″ Polka Dot grosgrain. I used the Sonnet Stamper and the Brayton Font to create her monogram. I also stamped each page of the notebook with her monogram. I know it sounds time-consuming to stamp every
page, but with the self-inking Sonnet Stamper it was really quick! The large notebook is a 2009 Day Planner. I created a slide to fit around the inside cover of the calendar. The slide is great because as you use each month of the calendar, you can tuck it inside the slide so it’s easy to find your place each time you open it. I didn’t take a picture of the inside so I hope that makes sense! I also created a quick set of monogrammed notecards while I had all the supplies out on my desk. I used
a sheet from the polka dot notepad to tie the whole theme together. I used the same Polka Dot grosgrain and the Stampin’ Up scalloped border punch as well. This time instead of punching out the monogram with my circle punch, I decided to use my Square Nestabilities for a little different look. I also stamped the same monogram on the flap of each envelope. I really love the ease of the Sonnet Stamper. It makes creating a fun, personalized gift for anyone so quick and easy! The Product Focus team at Splitcoaststampers also did a review of the new JustRite products today. You can read all of their opinions here and check out their creations in the Product Focus Gallery. Sharon Johnson has also written a fabulous tutorial on conditioning your JustRite stamps… a must-read for everyone. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
