Happy Bird-Day!
Good morning! I missed posting yesterday, but I needed a day to recover from all the fun we had packing orders this weekend! A special thank you to my friends Joy, Jami, and Jen for coming over to the “packing party” on Saturday and to Jon (the shipping director) for putting up with all of our silliness! Also included in the packing party was a trip to The Hat (a world-famous pastrami place near my house) and Dots Cupcakes (MMmm..good!). I know I’ve told you before that coloring is relaxing for me. So once all the orders were packed and everyone had left, I pulled our big kitchen table right in front of the TV in the family room (lol), got out all of my Copic markers and some of my favorite Whipper Snapper images, and started coloring. It was so fun! You’ll probably be seeing lots of Whipper Snapper from me in the next several days. I can’t find this bird image on the Whipper website, but I know it must be there somewhere. After coloring him with Copics, I added Crystal Stickles to his beak and to the tree leaves. The green panel is stamped with the Weave Backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms. The patterned paper is from Bo Bunny Press and the polka dot ribbon is from the TE store. I looked all through my collection for a Happy Bird-day sentiment and came up short so I generated the sentiment on the computer instead. Now I know what to buy the next time I’m stamp shopping… a Happy Bird-day sentiment. Thanks for stopping by today! If you get a chance, hop on over to the SASI blog to check out my Taylor Tuesday project! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
