Wings of Joy Class Closeups
Whew… yesterday was a hectic day trying to prepare for my trip to L.A! You know? Making a list and checking it a gazillion times. Actually, I’m really not much of a “What to Pack” list maker. That’s probably why my packing process feels so chaotic! Note to self…make a list next time! Right now I’m sitting at the airport waiting to board my flight. I checked my list a gazillion and one times and now the bags and have been checked so there’s nothing I can do about it anyway! If I forgot anything it’ll just be a good excuse to go shopping! So now I’m finally getting a little time to post a few more of the cards that we’ll be creating at the Wings of Joy class I’m teaching Thursday night at Pages from the Heart. For the first card I used the Spellbinders Polka Dot Frame. I just love this frame lately! And because the polka dots are the embossed part of the die, you can decide to use them or leave them off. Since I used patterned paper I decided not to emboss the polka dots on the frame. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with the Christmas KI Copic Kit. The cardstock is Prism Classic Red and Frosted Pink with Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly patterned paper and Choice Snow White cardstock for the image. The second card is a 4.25″ square card. The cardstock is Prism Frosted Pink and Vibrant Pink and I cut the scalloped square out of Jolly by Golly patterned paper. Again, I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Choice Buttercream and colored it with the same Christmas KI Copic Kit. The image was cut out with the Spellbinders Large Oval die and popped up on foam tape. OK…they’re boarding the flight so I gotta run! Thanks for stopping by today!
