Wings of Joy Class Closeups
I made it to L.A. safely yesterday! My flight into LAX was delayed so I was lucky enough to arrive just in time to catch the 5pm rush hour. I was quickly reminded of one of the things I don’t miss about Southern California, the traffic! Tonight I’ll be teaching class at Pages from the Heart and I have my last two Wings of Joy class samples to share with you today. The first card only uses a sentiment from Wings of Joy. I cut out two mittens and a hat from the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly patterned paper and popped them up on foam tape over a classic and scalloped Spellbinders oval. The three strips in the background are also from the Jolly by Golly collection. This card would be super easy to mass-produce for Christmas cards! The last card is a 4.25″ square card using the birdhouse image. I used the 2Sketches4u Sketch 36 for this card. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with the Christmas KI Copic kit. I added some white liquid applique to the snowy portions of the image. Then I stamped the sentiment and cut it out and embossed it with a circle Spellbinders die. The patterned paper and cardstock on this card are from the Christmas Key Ingredients. That’s it for me today…just two ‘easy to reproduce’ cards using Wings of Joy! Thanks for stopping by today!
