Baker’s Dozen Design Team Announcements
Good morning! It’s almost time for another Taylored Expressions release! The Baker’s Dozen and I are super ‘egg’cited to start sharing our sneak peeks tomorrow, but first I have some design team developments to share with you. It’s always hard to bid farewell to members of the TE team. These girls are amazing month after month and I am so thankful for their contributions! But time brings change and I’m happy to wish them the best in their creative endeavors.
Laurie Schmidlin is an original member of the team….she joined the Baker’s Dozen when we first started this adventure over a year ago! And she has been sharing her creative Cuppie cards and wonderful Whimsical Wishes creations ever since. It has been such a pleasure having Laurie on the team and I know we’ll all miss seeing her fabulous creations! Thank you, Laurie for sharing your talents with us!
Dawn Easton joined the Baker’s Dozen a year ago and she’s been amazing us with her seemingly effortless creativity ever since! Her bright color combinations and beautifully colored images always catch my eye. Add a personality as sweet as pie and you’ll see why Dawn has been such a pleasure to have on the TE team! She will be missed!
While both Dawn and Laurie leave big shoes to fill, I know our two latest additions will be up to the challenge! I hope you’ll join me in welcoming them to the Baker’s Dozen:
Jeanie Witmer served as our first guest designer during January & February so I know you’re all familiar with her beautiful work! When a spot opened up on the team, I told Jeanie I just wasn’t ready for the fun to end and she agreed to stay on as a permanent member! I just know you’re going to love seeing her beautiful work each month and I bet she’s got some inspirational tricks up her sleeves as well!
And I have long admired the clever creations of Carolina Buchting! I was able to meet her for the first time at CHA in Anaheim and it was such a pleasure… I only wished we had more time to chat! You’ll definitely want to check out her amazing creations on her blog: Carolina’s Creative Pad (notice…she’s fueled by cupcakes too!!! *grin*). I’m excited that Carolina will be joining us and I can’t wait to see what has to share with us over the next several months!
It’s also time to introduce a new Guest Designer for the months of March and April! I am so thrilled to have Amy Sheffer join us! Amy is one of those incredibly talented stampers who needs no introduction. But just in case, you’ll want to check out her blog Pickled Paper Designs! It’s going to be so exciting to see Amy’s amazing eye for color and design using Taylored Expressions stamps!
