TESC104 – Happy Spring
It’s time for another TESC Sketch Challenge! As I mentioned in my post above, I’m so excited that the snow is finally melting! We’ve survived our first winter back in the Midwest and lucky for us it can’t get much worse! Des Moines had more snow this winter than the last 60 years! So I was inspired to get out my new Butterfly Chipboard in hopes that butterflies will soon be appearing. I used patterned papers and cardstock from the Girl Friday card kit. The main image panel was cut out using the new Spellbinders Big Scalloped Rectangles Large. The green butterfly was spritzed with Avocado Metallic Maya Mist and the red/pink butterfly was inked with Warm Red Chalk Ink and covered with a coat of clear embossing powder. I added some Tiny Twinkle swirls, Mint Glimmer ribbon, and a sentiment from A Year of Sweet Sentiments to finish it off. And that’s it…super simple!
