Discover your CreativiTEA – Sneak Peeks!
Good morning and thanks for joining me for the first day of sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions! We have an incredible release this month including 5 stamp sets, 3 A La Carte images, and 3 new Card Kits! Today I’m sneaking peeks at two beautiful stamp sets designed by Nancy McKinney. We’ve named them CreativiTEA and Miniature Motifs. First, I want to show you several cards I created using one of our new Card Kits. When I was at CHA in January I came across the most beautiful patterned papers from a new company, The Girl’s Paperie. As soon as I saw the beautiful colors and chic patterns in these papers I knew they’d be the perfect coordinate for our CreativiTEA set.
Each of my cards is really simple using just the supplies that are included in the card kit. I wanted to show you how easy it is to make a set of cards using all of the coordinating supplies in the card kit. Everything is always easier to see in a video so I decided to create one to show you all the components of our Paper Girl card kit as well as the projects I created with the supplies. And for those of you who have purchased our card kits in the past, we’ve listened to your feedback and made one small change to our new card kits that I think you’re going to be very excited about! Now when you purchase one of our card kits you’ll receive a downloadable inspiration sheet with beautiful samples from the Baker’s Dozen! I also have one more project to show you. I’m super excited about the new Tea Tins that we’re offering during this release and I’m finding that they’re perfectly sized for many things including tea bags, Starbucks Via instant coffee, loose tea, candies, etc. If you have a really good memory you might remember the ATC swaps that I hosted a few years ago (gosh…has it been that long? It seems like just yesterday!). Well, I still love making ATC’s although I don’t have a chance to trade them as often as I would like. Our new Miniature Motifs set of background stamps are perfectly sized for creating ATC’s so I was feeling inspired to grab some scraps and see what I could come up with. That’s another reason why I love creating ATC’s…it’s always a fun challenge to see how many scraps I can use! 🙂 And then I had a spark of inspiration… I wonder if a set of ATC cards would fit inside the tin!? And they do…. perfectly! What a fun little gift of CreativiTEA to give to a friend who loves tea! And so I started by decorating the tin. I used the age-old kissing technique to get achieve the pattern on the solid teapot image and then I set off to create a set of tea-themed ATC cards using the CreativiTEA set! I’m only showing you one of the cards today, but I hope you’ll stay tuned after the release to see the rest of the set!
