New Crafter’s Workshop at Taylored Expressions
Today the Baker’s Dozen and I have the opportunity to share projects using some of the latest and greatest templates from The Crafter’s Workshop! You might have previously looked at the stencils category at the TE Store and thought “What would I do with these?…stencils aren’t for me.” Well, these stencils are for everyone! There are so many opportunities to explore your creativity with these plastic templates. The possibilities are endless from doodling, chalking, and sponging to misting, dry embossing, and piercing!
For my first card I used the new Tree of Life stencil to design this apple tree. It wasn’t one of those quick 10-minute cards, but I think it was worth the effort and I love how it turned out! And I shot a video so you could see the steps I took to create this tree!
Stamps: Sentiment from Branching Out
Cardstock: Suede Brown Dark, Intense Kiwi, Choice Buttercream
Patterned Paper: October Afternoon Report Card
Ink: Colorbox Lime Pastel, Versafine Sepia
Accessories: Tree of Life stencil, Kiwi Smooch, Red Pearls, Scallop corner chomper, sponge dauber, Mini Ecru pom trim, foam tape, red gingham, Cream vintage button, green leaf trinket pin
The second card I created uses the Daisy Cluster stencil from Crafter’s Workshop. While this isn’t one of the latest releases, it remains one of my favorite templates! I wanted to show you a fun technique that you can easily do with these stencils and some mist to create your own patterned paper!
I hope you enjoy Part 2 of my Crafter’s Workshop video. It’s shorter than Part 1 so don’t be scared! 🙂
