TESC117 – Laundry Day Chipboard
Hey Y’all! Happy Friday! Guess what arrived on the TE doorstep yesterday? A bunch of fun, new products from Maya Road, including the Laundry Day chipboard that I used on this card! I love the challenge of taking a blank piece of chipboard and creating an embellishment with character. And the Laundry Day Chipboard set goes *perfectly* with our latest Hangin’ Out and Hangin’ Out at the Beach stamp sets! The Garden Party Project Pantry kit was sitting on my desk as I went to design this card so I started by covering my chipboard shapes with patterns from the 72 & Sunny Collection from the kit. I traced around each piece, cut it out, glued it onto the chipboard, and sanded the edges. The sentiment is from the Hangin’ Out set and the little bird is from Branching Out. The double-scalloped border along the bottom is from the sheet of coordinating stickers that comes in the Garden Party Project Pantry kit. And it’s hard to see in the picture, but I used a template to sponge the cloudy background. Then to finish it all off I highlighted portions of each piece of chipboard with Illuminate Smooch… a yummy little top-coat! Thanks for stopping by to check out the challenge today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Oh… and P.S.: You can check out the rest of the new Maya Road goodies in our Fresh Out of the Oven department!
