You know what makes me so dog-gone happy? The Pet’s Place Project Pantry kit! I know it sounds silly, but all of the fun supplies in this kit just make me smile! When the Pet’s Place stamp set was in the design stage, I already had my wheels turning for this little treat bag. Do you have a Trader Joe’s near you? It’s an awesome grocery chain that I loved when we lived out in California. I knew they had these Scottie Dog black licorice candies so I made a special stop at Trader Joe’s while I was out in California last month. Imagine my delight and surprise when I returned back home and read in the newspaper that Trader Joe’s is coming to Des Moines! I’m not exactly sure when it’ll be open for business, but I am thrilled! Anyhow, I think these licorice Scotties make the perfect little gift for a new dog owner or just because. My mom loves black licorice so these have already found a home! I used the Pet’s Place Treat Wrap and packaged the licorice inside the cellophane bag that comes with it. I used the Scottie dog image from the Pet’s Place set to create a little tag for the treat bag. Then I set out to create a coordinating card using more of the ingredients from the Pet’s Place Project Pantry kit. I layered the sticker onto the Spellbinders Big Scalloped Rectangle and added another sticker border along the bottom of the card. The ribbon, dog bone brad, and dog bone clip are also from the Project Pantry kit.
