Sneak Peek – Tweet Hearts
It’s a new day which means another sneak peek of a NEW stamp set from Taylored Expressions! Today the Baker’s Dozen and I are sharing projects created using Tweet Hearts, a new addition to the Whimsical Wishes collection illustrated by Nancy McKinney! As with yesterday’s new releases, this stamp set will be available for purchase Friday at 8am PST! There are so many options with the bold images in this set! For my first card I decided to create my own patterned paper. When I create my own patterned paper, I usually draw color inspiration from a piece of patterned paper in my stash. I used Pebbles Treehouse paper for my color inspiration here. After choosing inks to match, I set out stamping the 
flower icons in a random pattern on Choice Snow White cardstock. Then I stamped my ‘tweet’ scene, cut it out with Spellbinders Labels 8, and sponged inside while the die was still in place. This card ended up being surprisingly quick and easy to create! If you attended the Craft SuperShow last weekend, then you might recognize this second card. It was one of our sweet and simple make and takes at the TE booth! I brought it home and decided to spruce it up a little bit with some Smooch Illuminate glitter top coat and a little piercing. If you’re a Key Ingredients subscriber then you likely recognize the patterned paper on this card. It’s from the July Key Ingredients kit! As Nancy was illustrating this set, she drew inspiration from the patterns in this paper which makes these stamps a perfect combination for your July Key Ingredients kit!
