Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 1
So are you ready to see What’s Cookin’ at Taylored Expressions today!? The TE team has been looking forward to sharing our sneak peeks with you since we got these stamps in our hot little hands!
We have lots of goodies to share today including 2 full size stamp sets, a Big Background stamp, and 2 new dies so I better get started! Our amazing illustrator, Nancy McKinney, has been a busy bee creating the stamps we’re sneak peeking today. Make a Wish is the latest addition to our Giving Tree series! If you’re not familiar with the Giving Tree, each quarter we introduce a new stamp set to support a different charity. When you purchase the Make a Wish stamp set during the months of September, October, and November, TE will donate $7.00 to a national children’s charity that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
It is important to note that sets in the Giving Tree Program are the same high quality deeply etched pink rubber on EZ Mount (just like your other TE stamps), however, unlike our other sets you will need to trim these images from a sheet of rubber. This allows us to cut manufacturing costs and donate even more to our charities. If you’ve never trimmed a stamp set before (or maybe you just need a refresher), you can check out my video HERE. Trimming your stamps is easy with the help of a sharp scissors and we hope you’ll agree that supporting a great cause is worth a little extra effort!
So are you ready to see my sneak peek projects!? I started with the most recent Blast from the Past sketch challenge for the card. Can you pick out our new dies? First is the scalloped eyelet border die! The border die measures 5.5″ long and I just love the petite scallops and wide holes. The holes are large enough to dot with Tiny Twinkles or Kaisercraft rhinestones. We also have a new set of balloon dies! The balloons come in a set of three different sizes that can be used with the coordinating balloon images in the Make a Wish set. After die-cutting the balloons I covered them with Illuminate Smooch and popped them up. On the right side of the card I embossed the star border from our new Borderlicious set in white embossing powder. These borders are a super fun addition to the Make a Wish set, but I’ve found myself reaching for them on every project I’ve created lately! After finishing the card I started on a little gift box using the Scalloped Lid Favor Box. I covered a piece of cupcake chipboard with patterned paper and Espresso Dimensional Pearls for chocolate frosting. Then I sprinkled some real sprinkles onto the cupcake ‘frosting’ while it was still wet.
You’ve probably noticed all of the coordinating supplies I used on these projects! Today we’re also introducing the Make a Wish Project Pantry to coordinate with our new stamps.
For just $18.95 you’ll receive all of the coordinating supplies pictured:
- 20 sheets of double-sided & spot embossed patterned paper from the Imaginisce Bday Bash collection
- 12 sheets of cardstock (2 sheets of each color pictured)
- 5 yards of ribbon (1 yard each of 5 different styles)
- 1 bottle of Espresso Dimensional Pearls
- 10 yards Baker’s Twine (red & brown)
- Cupcake Chipboard
- Red Glitter Candy Dots
We’ve done all of the coordinating work for you so when you receive the Project Pantry kit you’ll have everything you need to create lots of perfectly coordinated projects! All of the products we’re sharing today will be available for purchase beginning Friday, September 3rd at 8AM PST!
So I know this has been a marathon blog post, but you won’t want to miss what the rest of the Baker’s Dozen has created using Make A Wish, Borderlicious, and the Bubbles Big Background stamps! Thanks for stopping by today! Hope to see you back here for more sneak peeks tomorrow!
