TESC127 – Home is Where the Heart is
Happy Friday! This is gonna be a quick one today because I’ve got laundry, cleaning, and crafting to catch up on! I decided that today’s sketch worked perfectly for a little home decor project I’ve been wanting to do for a long time! I purchased a set of white frames at a garage sale this summer with the intention of opening them up and replacing the photos with my own artwork. So I dug one of the frames from my junk room (yes… it evolved from a junk drawer to a junk room!) and started off. I’ve been wanting to use the new Life is Good collection from Echo Park. I love the little houses in this patterned paper and I decided they’d be perfect paired with the Houses Chipboard from Maya Road! I started by covering the chipboard house with patterned paper and added the windows and chimney with tiny scraps. I airbrushed the cloudy background using a template and the B00 – Frost Blue marker with my air compressor. I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory! The finished artwork is approximately 5.5″ square.
And I’m off! I’ll be cooking, cleaning, and crafting today…the three fabulous ‘C’s’! 🙂 Well, actually crafting is the only fabulous one in my book, but I’m trying to get myself psyched up to do the other two… a little mind trickery! *grin*
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a fabulous day!
