Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 3
Today is the last day of sneak peeks for our October release! I always have so much fun seeing the amazing projects that the Baker’s Dozen creates with these new sets so it’s sad to see it come to an end. But the real excitement is just beginning as all of the new products we’ve been sharing will be available for purchase beginning Thursday (that’s tomorrow!) morning at 8am PST! So let’s get to the sneak peeks for today and we’ll be one step closer to the big release! *grin* We have three stamp sets ‘on the menu’ today and each of the sets has at least one coordinating die! These fabulous sets are sure to help keep you organized this season!
First up is Tag You’re It, another addition to the TE collection. I don’t know about you, but I’m always purchasing gift tags for my Christmas gifts. You know… the cheap ones that are never as cute as the ones you could make if you only had time!? Well, I designed this set to come to the rescue…no more store bought tags on my Christmas gifts! The tags require little (or no) coloring and can be easily die cut with our Favor Frame die. Remember the Fright Night Favors set from last month? The Favor Frame die works with the labels images in both sets! I stamped the tags onto Sticker Paper, did a little bit of coloring with Copics, and added rhinestones to a few of the tags. Then I decided to create a little packaging for the tags. I think they’d make a great “before Christmas” gift or even a fabulous item to sell at holiday craft fairs! You can click on either of these pictures to make the photos larger. I decorated a Hinged Tin with patterned paper from the Cottage Christmas collection. I added a strip of green glimmer ribbon around the outside of the tin using Sticky Tape. I added a tag to the top of the tin and the inside of the tin with the sentiments ‘Happy Holidays’ and ‘No Peeking’. This was super quick and easy and I think it turned out pretty cute!
And last, but certainly not least, we have two more stamp sets to introduce: Take Note Holidays & Keeping Tabs as part of our Whimsical Wishes collection. Take Note Holidays is an extension of our original Take Note stamp set and includes three additional frame stamps to coordinate with our three Take Note dies. The holiday themed images and mix-n-match words will help you create planners and organizers to prepare you for this season of busyness. While the Take Note set will help you create beautiful planners, the Keeping Tabs set is what will keep the inside of your planner organized. And there’s a coordinating Keeping Tabs die to go with it! I used both sets on the planner that I created here. I started with two pieces of book board (each approximately 4.25″ x 5.5″) and covered them with patterned papers from the Snow Day Project Pantry. I stamped the frame in Aquamarine Chalk Ink and cut it out with Take Note Die 3 and added it to the front of my chipboard book. I added loose leaf paper to the inside of the book and cinched it up with my Cinch machine (love that machine!) and a 3/4″ white wire. To finish it off, I stamped the tab images, cut them out with the Keeping Tabs die, and added them to the inside pages of the planner. My mom saw this project after I created it and she’s already claimed it as her secret weapon for staying organized this holiday season!
Here are photos of all of the dies I used on my projects above:
