TESC133- Thanks for Dinner
Today I decided to keep having fun with all of the new stamps and accessories that are spread out over my incredibly messy uniquely organized desk. I started with patterned paper from the Bon Appetit collection (can you tell I’m in love with these papers!?), Classic Red & Choice Snow White cardstock to create the layout for the card. For my image panel I did some traditional paper piecing using the apron from What’s Cookin’. I cut the bodice and ruffle from red cardstock and the bottom portion from patterned paper. I also used my Xacto knife to cut slits on each side of the apron and threaded some yellow glimmer ribbon as an apron sash. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched out with a 1 1/4″ circle punch. To finish it off I added a bow using yellow glimmer ribbon and several of the brads from the Bon Appetit Boutique Brad assortment.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with the sketch! Our weekend is jam packed with appointments and a trip to Santa’s North Pole craft fair! It’s one of the largest in our area and I always look forward to seeing what unique handcrafted items are offered. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
