Taylored Expressions February Sneaks – Day 2
Good morning! It’s time for another day of sneak peeks for the February release at Taylored Expressions. All of the new products the Baker’s Dozen and I are sharing will be available for purchase on Friday, February 4th at 8am PST! Right now I’m probably sitting in an airport crossing my fingers that my flight will take off! Although I’m excited to get back home, I wish Mother Nature could have waited to dump two feet of snow on the ground until I was snuggled warm in my own bed! *grin* Ah well… such is life. I have a few more sneak peeks to share with you today! First we have the super cute Fashionista stamp set! This set is going to be perfect for the fashionistas in my life…namely my two younger sisters!
Have I mentioned before how much I love shoes!? Those of you who have met me in person know that I’m over 6′ tall, but I love a big heel just like the short gals! Add a bright color, a fun pattern, and a sale and those shoes will be mine! *grin* I started by stamping the shoe-shopping scene in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored most of it with Copics, but decided to paper piece her dress with patterned paper. I love how the purple stripe turned out on the dress and tons of bling seemed appropriate for Ms. Fashionista too! I also added a purse charm to her arm with a glue dot and a little gingham ribbon bow along the bottom. The patterned paper is from the Echo Park Little Girl collection. Any woman can relate to this sentiment, right? I love it! The finished card ended up at 5″ square.
In addition to Fashionista, we have a new Petite wreath stamp set to go along with the popular seasonal wreath die from our January release. This month we’re introducing the Wreath of Luck! St. Patrick’s Day is one of those holidays that comes and goes in the blink of any eye, and this set will give you just enough St. Patty’s Day fun at a super affordable price. In keeping with my door wreath theme from last month, I created this super simple card with the shamrock wreath in the set. I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black ink, colored it with Copic markers, and highlighted some of the shamrocks with Stardust Stickles. I cut the wreath out with the seasonal wreath die and added a bow from the Basic Bow die. Love the dual cut and impress feature on the Basic Bow die… cut and impress in one easy step! The finished card size is 4.25″ x 5.5″ and the cardstock colors are Classic Yellow Green, Intense Kiwi, and Choice Snow White.
I’m almost done… I just have one more thing to share with you today! You know how I said above that St. Patrick’s Day is one of those holidays that seems to pass in the blink of an eye.
