Taylored Expressions March Sneaks – Day 3
Good morning! Today is the last day of sneak peeks before all of the new March products are available at the TE Store! I have more fun things on the menu today so are you ready to see What’s Cookin’? First, the Baker’s Dozen and I are sharing sneak peeks of the latest addition to our favor frame collection, A Tweet for You! You might remember the previous Tag You’re It and Fright Night Favor sets that also coordinate with our Favor Frame die. This new set was designed with Easter treats in mind and includes even more frames to coordinate with the die! Next up on the menu is our Pennant A la Carte stamps and coordianting Pennant border die! Sometimes you just need that one stamp, one cut pennant to add some pizazz to your project and this is it! The Pennant A la Carte includes 2 stamps (one polka dot and one solid pennant) and the coordinating die trims it perfectly in one easy step! So let’s get to the goodies…
This is the quick and cute ‘tweet’ that I made with A Tweet for You. With 4 frames, 6 sentiments, and 5 little icons there are lots of possibilities for this set! Now I haven’t met anybody who doesn’t like M&M’s… especially the spring mix with pretty pastel colors and little bunnies printed on them! I picked up the glass jar at IKEA, added the strip of patterned paper around the lid (from the Echo Park Springtime collection) and a twill bow on the handle. I stamped the label in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the small circles with various Copics. The little eggs were stamped with Colorbox Rouge and Wisteria inks and then I cut the label out with the coordinating Favor Frame die. I’m pretty sure these M&M’s won’t last through the rest of week, but I still have plenty of time to fill it up again and give it away before Easter! Here’s hoping I don’t eat the next bag of M&M’s all by myself! 😉
For my second card I combined the Hello Spring set (that we peeked at yesterday) and the Pennant A la Carte. I was feeling inspired by this card that Karen made… I love how she cut out and popped up the cracked egg shells for extra dimension and I wanted to try it myself. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copics. I also added a bit of my own grass using a Copic. I trimmed the image and used my Corner Chomper to round the edges, then layered it onto a Spellbinders Big Scalloped Rectangle. Again, the patterned paper is from the Springtime collection by Echo Park. And to complete the card I stamped the polka dot pennant in Wisteria Chalk ink and cut it out with the coordinating Pennant border die. If you’re not familiar with how our dies work, take a peek at these short videos. Taylored Dies & Alternative Method for Using Taylored Dies. I promise they’re super easy to use and you’ll be hooked just like I am!
So that’s all for the last day of sneak peeks! I hope you’ll join us right here tomorrow morning at 8am PST when all of the new products are available for purchase! And don’t miss the rest of the Baker’s Dozen sneak peeks for today:
