I’m in *LOVE* with a husky boy!
Good morning and Happy Friday! I hope you all have some stamping planned for this weekend! I’ll be stamping for our April release (sneak peeks start on Tuesday!). So are you wondering about my post title? Lemme explain! As we were shopping at the recent CHA show we came upon the Hometown Summer collection by Pink Paislee and I immediately fell in love! You all know I love bright colors and cutesy patterns so of course these patterned papers called to me from a mile away. But it’s really this sweet little boy who captured my heart… literally! This little guy with his bowl cut, round belly, goggles, and floaties reminds me of childhood pics of my sweet hubby. Although he has since shed the roundness and taken on a new hairstyle, his siblings still tease him about his husky days. So I decided to create this card as an ode to Jon and I proudly displayed it for him in his office. *grin*
The layout for the card is from this week’s SCS Sketch Challenge #325. I can’t believe I participated in two challenges this week! I know many of you probably do 6-7 a week, but two is big for me so I’m celebrating! *wink* The patterned papers are from the Hometown Summer collection as well as the adorable rubber charms. I added Glossy Accents to the puddle below the little guy’s feet and to the watermelon seeds in the patterned paper. The only stamped part of the card is a sentiment from Garden Party Blooms.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
