February Key Ingredients Blog Hop & Challenge
Good morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I was able to go to an all-day crop event at my local scrapbook store on Saturday and I can’t wait to show you the pages I made! But first I’m joining together with the Key Ingredients design team for our monthly blog hop! In addition to our themed blog hop, we’re also challenging our subscribers to get your kit out and participate along with us! And of course there will be a prize! Here are all the deets:
1. Create a card or project to fit within the challenge theme using your February Key Ingredients kit (TE Stamps are not required). This month’s challenge theme is “Take Note”!
2. Post your creation to your blog or online gallery and then come back here to link your post using the InLinkz below.
You have until March 8th to participate in the challenge and we will be announcing our first winner when the March KI kit debuts on March 10th. The random winner will get to choose one stamp set of her choice from the TE Store! I hope this motivates you to dig into your Key Ingredients and start creating! I am SOOOOOO excited to see what you come up with!
For the “Take Note” theme I decided to create a set of notecards along with a coordinating Perfect Package for storage. I always say you can create at least 16 cards with the ingredients in the kit but today I wanted to show you how I did that. I started with the Mojo Monday sketch for my layout. It ended up being perfect because I could incorporate lots of different patterns without using a lot of patterned paper. And then I just paired the sketch with the fabulous Vintage Dreamer stamp set. The stamp set is exclusive to our subscribers and there’s still time to get it at a 50% discount (only $10.98). Click here for more details on the Vintage Dreamer deal! Everything you see in the pictures is from the kit except the Dark Brown Chalk Ink and the Vintage Dreamer stamp set and the Best Glue Ever that I used to adhere them all together. I made 4 of each of the designs pictured:
After creating my notecards I used some leftover pieces to decorate a Perfect Package card box:
And then after all these projects I still had these supplies left over:
There’s still lots of pearls and patterned paper and just a little bit of ribbon. And we sell the extra cardstock packs and extra ribbon bundles if you want to get even more mileage out of your kit!
So… what do you think? If you haven’t joined the kit club there’s still time to get in on the fabulous goodies in this month’s kit. Check out my video to see all the ingredients and hear about the special deal we have going on this month:
And for even more inspiration, you’ll want to keep hoppin’ along to check out what the KI Design Team has created with the “Take Note” theme:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! And if you’re a subscriber then I hope you’re heading off to dig into your kit and get started on a project for the challenge. Don’t forget to come back and enter your link below:
