Prima Leather Flower Frame
Good afternoon! Guess what!? It’s almost Friday! One of my college roommates is coming to visit this weekend and I can hardly wait to stay up late and giggle like we used to in the good ‘ol days (I know… I’m not THAT old, but sometimes it feels like college was AGES ago!).
I’ve been working on a re-decorating project lately as I transform our front room into a playroom for Madelyn. Since this is the first thing people walk into when they come over I want it to fit in with the rest of our decor. So I’m not doing the ‘crazy bright colored playroom’, but I’m still trying to make it cute and fun for her. I picked out some super cute purple polka dot fabric and a matching purple paisley pattern as my inspiration pieces. I’m going to have my mom make a valance and bench cushion from these fabrics and since I don’t sew I decided to cover a couple wood frames with the fabric too! The Prima Laredo Soccoro flowers were the perfect embellishment for my frame after I covered it with fabric. They’re made from a cool leathery material so I knew they’d stand the test of time. Check out the closeup below to see the texture and detailing on the flower! And of course a picture from Madelyn’s 6 month session was the perfect thing to fill the frame! *grin*
