Perpetual Occasions Calendar + Year-o-Graphy
Good morning Happy Tuesday! It happened again! I was all ready to share this project that I made over the weekend and then Monday got away from me. Monday’s have a way of disappearing! Jon has been reporting for jury duty the past three days which means my time for typing blog posts is limited to whenever Madi wants to take a nap and those naps just never seem long enough! *wink*
I am often asked for my suggestion of ONE patterned paper collection that could be used to create 12 months of a calendar and I’ve never had a great answer to that question. They’re either too bright and happy to use for the fall/winter months or too holiday themed to use during the spring/summer months. So I end up recommending two or three different collections that can be used to cover all 12 months. So when I discovered the Year-o-Graphy 6×6 paper pad from Simple Stories I knew I had the perfect answer for all those calendar projects! I combined the Year-o-Graphy 6×6 pad, Expressions Stickers, and Fundamentals Stickers with the TE Perpetual Occasions calendar to create this:
I used patterned papers and the notebook edge sticker along with a quote that I cut out from the patterned paper pad: “These are the moments I want to remember”. I thought that was the perfect quote for the Perpetual Occasions calendar which is filled with special occasions to remember. I am tickled with how this turned out and now I just have to decide if I should hold onto it and give it as a Christmas gift or start using it RIGHT NOW!
