Madelyn – 8 months!

Good morning! Where in the world has this week gone? I can’t believe June is tomorrow! I’ve been getting ready for a garage sale at our house this weekend so I haven’t had a lot of time to craft. It’s been a while since I shared about Madelyn so I thought I’d fill you in on the latest in the life of an 8 month old! She’s growing by leaps and bounds these days and it’s getting hard to keep up with her!
Here are a few of the new things she’s been up to lately:

Crawling (I can’t believe how fast she can scoot!)
Pulling herself up to standing (does that mean she’ll be walking soon? YIKES!)
Trying lots of new foods (last night she had Gerber Chicken and Noodles and this morning it was Mangos!)
Swimming and playing with her toys! Here are some pictures:

Grandma bought a plastic pool to keep at her house and she loves to have Madi over to swim! Madi loves to splash (and I love to dress her in bikinis…LOL!)

The wagon is another favorite toy, but she likes to pull herself up while the ride is going. Then Jon stops and in his best “carnival worker” voice says “No standing while the ride is in motion.” Amazingly, she sits back down and the ride continues!

Don’t let that face fool you… she really does love her Cozy Coupe! This picture was taken right before nap time and I just couldn’t coax a smile out of her!

Shes a doll. I tell ya time goes fast but its so much fun and amazing. My girl is 6 going on 7 MAN! HAH take LOTS of photos and jot down funny memories. I wish I had at that age alot of it lost from my mommy mind HA. Thanks for shareing!

Big Smiles here.
I also have a wading pool for the grandsons. (They even have towels, swim trunks and water toys here too) Both LOVE the water.
She is so darn adorable in her BIKINI !!!!
I would wager she will be walking at 9 or 10 months… the fun really begins. 🙂

Taylor – she is so beautiful! I love the pictures! It brings back so many memories of when my son Tim was that age! I love that she sits back down when "carnival man" tells her to! Adorable!

Thanks for sharing, Taylor – I love to see the updates on Madelyn…..she is such a cutie pie and I know she's loveable and squeezeable!!!! I love this, Taylor!! I need to get one of these, as my cards are always late – go figure! happy 6 months to Madelyn!! I always loved going to the baby appointments to see how much they grew!!

Taylor, I love your Perpetual Occasions Calendar and especially the Bible verses that accompany each month! I think I need to purchase these stamp sets. This would make such a great gift! Thanks for the inspiration!!

Give your sweet Madelyn a kiss and a hug from me. Poor baby having to endure those nasty shots. You'd think they would have a devised a painless way to immunize by now!
