Taylored Expressions November Release Day
Hey there! Happy Release Day! I’m so excited about the stamps and dies we have this month and the Baker’s Dozen gals have knocked it out of the park with amazing inspiration!
All of the new products are now available in the Fresh Out of the Oven department! You’ll also want to make sure you check out our Current Specials page to find out how you can get the Crafty Expressions stamp set free with purchase!
Before you head out to shop, check out the video I recorded to show you all the new products. And we all have more inspiration to share on our blogs today!
I’m starting off with a project I created with the new Mega Leaves dies and the previously released Mini Leaves dies:
I cut the leaves from cardstock, patterned paper, and Grass Green & Split Pea felt. Then I arranged all of the leaves on the card and taped them down with removable tape. I stitched over the top of the removable tape and peeled it off once the stitching was complete. The sentiment is from the Thankful set and the matching stitched stamp along the bottom is from the Borderlicious set.
My next card uses the gorgeous Garden Shed. This is the last set in the Adorable Abodes series. We now have 12 houses themed for different seasons and holidays! They’re perfect for creating cards or even a calendar project with a different house for each month. Here’s the card I created (yes, I surprised even myself and went with a pastel color combo!):
I stamped the house in Memento Rich Cocoa ink along with the scene additions like the stone path, picket fence, and bird bath. I colored the scene with Copics and then masked the different elements in order to airbrush the cloudy background (which is hard to see in the picture). The patterned paper is from the My Mind’s Eye The Sweetest Thing Tangerine 6×6 pad. I stamped the sentiment from Many Minis – Occasions onto a Mini Tag die cut and tied it up with ivory burlap twine. I also used the Lace Chain border die cut behind the image panel and the Cloud Duo die to cut out the gingham patterned clouds. To finish it off, I covered the colored rocks with Crackle Accents. Sigh… I want to live there!
For my last project I used the adorable Welcome Gnome set. I just love all the possibilities for building a cute little gnomey scene!
I stamped the images in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored them with Copics to match the My Mind’s Eye Gnome Sweet Gnome patterned paper. I paper pieced their hats and used white liquid applique on his beard to make it fluffy. I cut out the image with Label Stacklets 2 and sponged around the outside with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The Whimsy Tree die cut was the perfect addition to the background! I also used the Lace Chain border, linen burlap trim, and chocolate pearls to bring the card together.
Here are all of the dies I used on my projects today:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you see something you love! The rest of the Baker’s Dozen has more inspiration today and we’ll all be back tomorrow with more projects to share too!
