May Release Preview Party – Comment to Win! UPDATED

Hey there!  Thanks for stopping by!  Wasn’t the Preview Party a ton of fun?  Huge thanks to Regina for running it!

Now if you’re confused by what I just wrote, head on over to the TE Facebook page and check out the Preview Party posts from Wednesday evening that reveal the new May Release items.  That should help clear up the confusion.      
As Regina noted during the party, we are giving away 3 gift certificates to the TE store – two $20 certificates and one $40 certificate!  To enter to win one of the certificates, please leave a comment on this blog post letting me know what your favorite new release item is and what you hope to make with it.  Comments will close at 7am PST on Thursday, May 9 and the winner will be announced in my  May 9 Release Day post at 8am PST.

    Oh no, I missed the party! My favorite from the new release is the birch tree cutting plate and the birch tree accessories. These would make great masculine cards and projects. I always struggle with masculine cards, these would make the so much easier! I also love the Band-it die! Such a versatile die, would be a great addition to any crafter's stash! Ok, I know its more than one favorite, but one? Really?!

    As always, there are SO many things that I really love! I will be putting quite a few on my wishlist!!! The one I like the best, however, is the birch tree die. I have always loved birch trees- the way the bark looks, the way the leaves sound when the wind blows through them. We don't have them here in Texas where I live, but they remind me of where I grew up and spend many vacations with my Grandma in Wisconsin. I will be purchasing that birch tree die and using it ASAP!

    I can see all of my Christmas cards with that beautiful background!
    But I think first I will make some framed layered photos of the 4 seasons using the Birch Tree cutting plate. I will decorate each set of trees for a different season and hang them on the stair way so I can look at them as I walk to my studio every day 🙂

    Thanks for the fun party! Like most everyone else, my favorite was the birch tree cutting die. You could do so many different things with it. We are supposed to be making wedding invites for a fall wedding. Think I might try this die and see how it works with fall colors.
