August Key Ingredients & Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
Hey there! I hope you’re all having a great week! Yesterday certainly qualified as a ‘Manic Monday’ in the world of Taylored Expressions, but of course I still found some time to get stampy with the new August stamp of the month, S’more Fun! The Baker’s Dozen and Key Ingredients design teams are joining together today to share inspiration using the stamp set paired with the coordinating August Key Ingredients kit. Get ready for some outdoorsy projects (and even some that will make your mouth water!). Did someone say s’mores?
Here’s the card I made:
I started with Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch #113. Jen’s sketches are always there for me in my time of need… early in the morning, late at night, and anytime my mojo just isn’t quite awake! I started by constructing the different patterned pieces of the card. Then I stamped the image in Memento Espresso Truffle ink and paper pieced it. I airbrushed the cloudy sky on the image panel using the Cloud Border die. Then I cut out the trailer with the coordinating die from the Around the Campfire set.
I used the Grass Border die beneath the trailer and inked the arrow border leaving an open space for the sentiment. I finished it off with a couple buttons and a bit of natural burlap string.
