Hey there and Happy Friday! Any fun weekend plans? I’ll be creating projects for our October sneak peeks that kick off next week and I have big plans to finish up a few last projects in the baby’s room. Although with me it’s never really finished! I have the Pinterest disease where I continue to browse for new ideas and add projects to the list!
Two weeks ago we celebrated Madi’s 2nd birthday with a farm themed party in our backyard (has is really been two weeks already!?). I was so happy with how everything turned out! I managed not to botch the food, the weather was beautiful, and the party girl had a great time with her friends and cousins (evidenced by the fact that it took her about 2 seconds to fall asleep once we finally brought her to her room for a nap!).
I promised to share some party pictures with you so here they are!
The farm cake stole the show! Cake decorating is not in my repertoire so I ordered this from a local bakery. Not only was it adorable, it tasted good too! I went with the vanilla almond flavor with buttercream frosting! YUM!
These are the party favor bags that I made for each of the kids. Inside were farm animal crackers, ‘cow pies’ (chocolate covered raisins), Cow Tales, and a farm puzzle. On the back was a big sticker that said “Thank Moo”!

(served in the old fashioned milk bottles with those cute striped straws!)
Here’s a collage of the several pictures from the party. You know what’s sad!? I didn’t get any pictures of our family! And we all looked so festive in our denim and cowboy boots. Ah well… the “pictures” from another fun party will forever live in my memory!
