Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks: Picture Perfect Blocks
Hey there, crafty friends! So what did you think of our first day of sneak peeks yesterday!? I hope you saw something that piqued your interest and made you want to come back today for more! If you missed the peeks from yesterday scroll down just a bit to see more. All of the new stamps and dies will be available for purchase in the TE Store on Thursday, October 3rd at 7am PST.
If you want an early look at the goodies, then you’ll want to join Regina at the Preview Party on our Facebook page tonight at 6pm PST! She always has fun games, polls, and prizes to give away! What’s a party without prizes!?
Today the Baker’s Dozen and I are back to share more projects using 3 more new stamp sets and all eleven new dies! I am so giddy about how this card turned out and I can’t wait a second longer to share it:
You saw the Color Block Cutting Plate on my Christmas card yesterday, and while it’s super versatile this is really what I had in mind when Nancy was bringing my idea to life! I love to send photo cards and this gives me the best of everything… I get to use my photographs and the card still has that handmade charm. We recently had family pictures taken and I thought the yellow and grey color combo would make the perfect fall photo card.
I used the new We Give Thanks stamp set for the sentiments, the acorn, and the wheat bundle stamped behind the sentiment. The 2013 date stamp is from the Big Bold Christmas stamp set.
My second project was created using several new dies and will fulfill a need for me this holiday season. I give a lot of gift cards and I always like to create some cute and clever packaging. Bring in the Tag Pocket and Mix & Match Bows dies:
I used cardstock and patterned papers from the ‘Tis the Season Project Pantry Kit. I cut and assembled the tag pocket and then adhered a slightly smaller tag cut from the Tag Stacklets 1 set to the front of the pocket. The To: & From: stamps come from the Classroom Cuties stamp set. And I finished the pocket off with a 3D bow from the new Mix & Match Bows die set. Here you can see how a gift card can be inserted into the pocket and tied at the top with a bow:
That’s it for me today! The rest of the Baker’s Dozen girls have amazing projects to share so check ’em out! And don’t forget about our Facebook Preview Party tonight at 6pm PST!
