Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks: Doodles & Sack It
Hey there! It’s time for our last day of sneak peeks and I’m so glad you’re stopping by to check ’em out! All of the new products will be available at 7am PST on Thursday, February 5th so mark those calendars! You’ll also want to mark your calendar for our Facebook Preview Party. The celebration begins tonight at 6pm PST on our Facebook page. Regina is the ‘Director of Fun’ tonight where she’ll be sharing an early peek at our newest products and giving away some awesome party prizes!
So now that you’ve appropriately marked your calendars, I want to share more fun goodies available this month. First up is a set of cards I created using the new Doodle Alpha stamp set:
The doodled style is back! While I’d love to have time to sit down and doodle my own letters, I had to admit that I just don’t have that time. So Doodle Alpha came to my rescue. I can still create my own sentiments with this super cute doodle “font”. The best part of this alpha is that it’s imperfect! Because the letters have a doodled style you don’t have to worry about getting everything lined up just perfectly. And I can hardly wait to try this out on my next pocket scrapbooking layout!
I started by stamping several words with the Doodle Alpha. I colored each of the words to coordinate with the Hey Kid patterned paper by Pink Paislee. Then I stamped an additional word for each card using You’re My Type Upper to complete the sentiment. Each of these was trimmed out with a banner die from the Label It die set.
Here are all of the supplies I used on these cards:
The Baker’s Dozen and I are also sharing a project using our personal favorite product from this release. My favorite new product is Sack It – Leprechaun and here’s what I made:
I think this guy is just too cute! And with the help of the Sack It To You treat box base it’s super easy to put together! I added a few little touches like orange flock on his beard and gold glitter on the band of his hat. But if you were mass-producing these you could leave off the little ‘extras’ and I think he’d still be just as cute! Just in case anyone else is searching… I found the chocolate coins at Walgreens!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure you keep right on going to check out the rest of the design team projects for today. We’ll be back here tomorrow with more inspiration and all of the new products!
