Happy Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Friday! I hope you have some fun plans with the ones you love. We’ll be ordering pizza, renting a movie from RedBox (most likely Monsters University…Madi’s favorite), and staying in tonight. The perfect Valentine’s Day for this couple with young kids!
I had lots of fun making little treats bags for the gals who work in our office and I thought I’d share them with you today:
I started by cutting the Sack It To You die from different patterned papers in my stash. If you have the Sack It To You die then you know that the bag front is open on the die. We manufactured the die this way for a couple reasons. 1) If you’re cutting your bag out of patterned paper, having the die open on the front makes it easier to line up your pattern. 2) You can cut various shapes into the front of your bag for a little peek at the treat inside.
I used the Heart Stacklets to cut a piece out of the front of the bag. Then I filled small treat bags with chocolate candies and placed them inside the sack. I tied the treat bags with ivory hemp and tied on a tag that was made using Valentine Treat Toppers and Bloomin’ Stacklets 1. I took the treats out of this photo so you can see the frame cut into the sack a little better:
Here are all of the supplies I used to make my treat sacks:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
