Meet the Taylored Expressions Illustrators
Over the years, our stamps have been called everything from “cute” to “elegant” and from “fresh” to “fun.” What
began as a line drawing of a little cupcake has become a wonderful
compilation of artwork from a group of talented illustrators we are
proud to call our own. We
love to welcome new members to the TE family, and it’s our pleasure to
introduce two new illustrators who’ve joined our amazing team. We also
wanted to take the opportunity to tell you a bit more about all of the entire team of illustrators behind our product design:

California girl who now lives in North Idaho, BreAnne is almost never
without a pencil and a pad of paper, a habit she started as a young
girl. She enjoys working with many art forms, including paper crafting,
wood, painting, and clay. Her favorite medium to work with is pen &
ink with Prismacolor pencils. We love her cheerful, fun artistic style,
and the stamp sets she illustrates are sure to make you smile. A
self-professed food fan, BreAnne makes her home with her pet sugar
glider, Neeko!

Danielle looks familiar to you, it’s because you may remember her from
her time on our design team, the Baker’s Dozen! We are thrilled that
Danielle is returning to TE in this new role. A native of Michigan,
Danielle works as a Senior Software Engineer by day and lets her
creative energies loose in the evenings. An early love of arts and
crafts led Danielle to stamping and last year she returned to drawing,
much to our delight. She shares her home with her two fluffy cats and
never met a fresh baked brownie she could resist. We can’t wait to share
her darling designs with you!

then, she has illustrated over 100 stamp sets and die designs, many of
which continue to be fan favorites. A one-time English teacher, Nancy
now designs from her home in Oakville, Ontario, where she is also mom to
Henri and teenage twins, and their beloved rescue dog, Phoenix. One of
her greatest joys as a designer is seeing people post projects that use
stamp sets she illustrated!

has been illustrating for TE since 2011 and her sweet style continues
to be a crowd pleaser. A self-taught artist and stay-at-home mom to two
beautiful children in Urbandale, Iowa, Emily also recently illustrated
her first children’s book! She also enjoys creating digital designs for
use in home decor, fabrics, and other crafty projects.

well-known mural painter, Doug’s talent first came to Taylor’s
attention when she asked him to create some of his beautiful work in the
VanBruggen home. A youth director of a local church, Doug lives in
Johnston, Iowa with his wife and three children. His stamp designs
always share his fun-loving, signature style.

the launch of Taylored Expressions in 2008, Taylor began teaching
herself illustration by designing sentiments to accompany our first
Cuppie stamp sets. Since then, she has drawn several sets, including fan
faves Bugabee and Garden Party Blooms. Though
her duties as Co-Owner and Creative Director take time from drawing
images, Taylor has returned to her graphic design interests in
typography with the Big Bold and Graphic Greetings collections.
hope you enjoyed getting to know some of the people who make Taylored
Expressions hum and that you’ll share in our joy as our family grows!
