Taylor’s Expressions: A Stellar Achievement
Hey there, crafty friends! It’s hard to believe that the end of another school year is right around the corner! And for many of you, that means a graduation ceremony may be in your future. Even though our girls aren’t even of school age yet, it seems I am always in need of at least one graduation card every season. So I thought I’d sit down this weekend and see what I could come up with combining a few stamp sets that might not readily come to mind for graduation cards.
I started by combining words, frames, and flourishes from the Chalkboard Elements and Chalkboard Elements II stamp sets. I stamped them in Versamark onto Chalkstock and embossed with white embossing powder. I trimmed a tag from Kraft cardstock using Tag Stacklets 2 and trimmed the sentiment to fit on the tag with a patterned paper strip along the bottom.
I
cut the hat out with the Grad Cap die and it fit perfectly at the top
of the tag. I finished the tag off with red hemp twine and a Doodlebug
white star sprinkle.
