May Stamp of the Month: Bloom & Grow
Good morning! It’s that time of the month again, time to introduce our newest Stamp of the Month and coordinating Key Ingredients kit. The old saying “April Showers Bring May Flowers” is certainly true with the pretty floral patterns and stamps in the May kit. Today I’m joined by the Baker’s Dozen and Key Ingredients Design Teams to share our very best inspiration using the new supplies. But first, here’s a look at the new stamp set Bloom & Grow:
And the coordinating set of dies, Hello Blooms:
Both the stamp and die set were designed to coordinate with the patterned paper, cardstock, and embellishments in our May Key Ingredients kit pictured below:
Here’s the card I made with these supplies:
I started by cutting the Quatrefoil Cutting Plate from the coral cardstock and several different patterned papers. Then I pieced the different patterns within the cardstock cutout to create the background paper. Because the background was pretty busy, I decided to keep the rest of the card simple.
I stamped the flowers in Memento Angel Pink ink and the flower center over the top in Colorbox Rouge ink. Then I used Copic marker to add a few more highlights to the flower and a Bumblebee Doodlebug Sprinkle to the middle. After all, none of my cards are complete without at least one Sprinkle! 🙂
I stamped the sentiment onto grid patterned paper in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut it out with Banner Stacklets 3.
