TE Guest Blogger: Heather Campbell
needed a hobby that I could do with limited amounts of time, require
minimal space in the house, and not make much of a mess. Yeah,
obviously I had no idea what I was getting into but I am so glad I did!”
Heather’s Notes: For my first card, I was completely inspired by the Ray of Sunshine Cutting Plate. With it, I die-cut a bunch of different shades of cardstock and then assembled them together in a rainbow pattern. The Bugs & Balloon set was the perfect complement to the rainbow background. To create the clouds, I simply layered a few die-cut flowers behind the hot air balloons! One of my favorite tricks to layer a sentiment on something like this is to heat emboss the sentiment onto a layer of vellum.

Heather’s Notes: I have a thing for cute little animals and this little puppy is just too sweet. I created my own background by repeatedly stamping the house onto kraft cardstock. Then, I stamped and colored in my Tanner puppy with some coloring pencils. I love how easy the coordinating dies make it to pop it into place.
