Key Ingredients Showcase: Emily Lanham
Happy Tuesday! We hope you have all been getting outside and enjoying some nice weather. We’ve been getting out in the garden with this month’s Stamp of the Month and coordinating Key Ingredients Kit, and we asked KI Design Team member Emily Lanham to to whip up something special using elements from the Kit. We think you’ll love the fresh, sweet projects she created.
Emily’s Notes: I decided to create a couple of projects that would make great gift ideas and bring joy to someone’s day. These cute little seed packets measure approximately 3×4 inches each.
They were cut with my digital die-cutting machine. I used a file from the
that was for an envelope pocket and shrunk it
down to the size that I wanted. Next, I added pieces from the cut apart sheet
in the 6×6 paper pad from this month’s Key Ingredients Kit with the seed names. I thought this was perfect for
these sweet little packets. I added some of the rhinestone stickies from
Maya Road to the backs of my seed packets just for some extra bling.
Emily’s Notes: For my second project, I decorated a few gift bags, because it makes a gift that much more special. These little gift bags measure about 5×7 inches in size. They can be purchased at any party store and jazzed up to make a perfect package for a small gift. The Key Ingredients kit of the month had just what I needed to jazz up my gift bags, and I used die cuts, stamps, and coordinating papers to achieve this. I am sure that any recipient would be happy with a handmade gift bag with goodies inside!
Thanks so much, Emily, for creating such a fun way to give gifts inspired by this month’s Key Ingredients Kit! Visit us tomorrow for a project from Blog Team designer Caryn Davies that will have you reaching for those handlebars!
