I’ve had so much fun creating with these new products and I have two more projects to share with you today! I decided to use the Ray of Sunshine cutting plate as a stencil on this card along with my favorite sentiments from the Big Bold Summer stamp set:
I cut the Ray of Sunshine plate from cardstock and used that as a mask to airbrush the sunshiny background. Then I simply stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed it with black embossing powder.
To finish it off I used one of the new metallic gold enamel dots from My Mind’s Eye. I’m really loving these! They have a super shiny metal finish!
For my next project I used the adorable Hippo Birdy stamp set and stacked the different animals to make this ‘Welcome Baby’ card:
After stamping the animals on top of each other I paper pieced portions of them and colored the rest with Copics. Then I masked all of the animals and used the cloud border to airbrush the cloudy backdrop.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto one of the cloud duo dies and popped it up above the elephant’s trunk. To finish it up I added white photo corners around the image panel. I’m excited to hear the good news of the birth of a good friend’s first baby so I can put this one in the mail!
The girls on our Baker’s Dozen design team are overflowing with creativity and they have more projects to inspire you today! Take a little time to visit their blogs and let them know what an inspiration they are to all of us!
