Introducing Wash.Dry.Repeat, Notable Blooms, Bouquet Dies, and More!
Hi there, crafty friends! We’ve made it to the last day of sneak peeks before all of our new products are available for purchase. You’ll be able to find them all at the TE web store starting tomorrow at 7am PST! Today the Baker’s Dozen and I have a few more fabulous new goodies to share with you and another chance to be a winner!
So who likes to clean? Anybody….anybody? Well, not me! But I do love the adorable new Wash.Dry.Repeat stamp set that we’re showcasing today and the sentiments are just perfect for someone who hates to clean! We also have the gorgeous Notable Blooms set to show you. It may look detailed, but with the help of the coordinating dies you’ll be making beautifully simple cards with this set! We’re also showcasing coordinating dies for two of our most popular petite bouquets, Daisy & Zinnia. And last, but not least, the new Lattice Cutting Plate ties all of our floral goodies together.
Before I start sharing all the new products and my own sneak peek projects, would you like to hear what’s up for grabs by commenting on today’s blog post?
Today we’re giving away the Notable Blooms stamp set and the coordinating Notable Blooms dies!
Enter to win by leaving a comment on this blog post before Wednesday, June 4 at 11:59pm PST. One entry per person. Each comment will also be automatically entered into our Grand Prize drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate to the TE Store! Winners will be chosen at random and announced on Thursday, June 5, 2014.
For my first project I used Notable Blooms and the coordinating dies to create a really simple thank you card:
I started by stamping the floral sprigs in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring them with Copic markers. I die cut the sprig with the coordinating Notable Blooms die.
Then I used Label Stacklets 8 to cut a frame from the front of my 4.25″ card base. I cut the next smaller size from the same set of Stacklets, stamped the sentiment on it, and adhered it to the inside of the card so that it was perfectly aligned within the die cut frame. The corner sprigs were then popped up the edges of the frame with thin foam squares.
And guess what!? I didn’t use Sprinkles. I know… crazy! And now looking at my project I’m thinking I could have easily sneaked a few in as flower centers. *grin*
For my next project I used the Wash.Dry.Repeat stamp set and coordinating dies to create this little scene:
This sentiment makes me giggle every time! I started by paper piecing my gal with patterns from the Simple Stories Homespun collection. She was stamped on a separate piece and then die cut after I finished coloring. I stamped the ironing board and dirty laundry on the image panel and then popped up my die cut gal over the top. These coordinating dies make for easy scene building… no need for masking!
I added a few heart sprinkles in the corner and a hand-drawn double border.
So that ends my sneak peeks for this week, but I know the Baker’s Dozen gals have much more to share with you today! And we’ll all be back tomorrow for some more inspiration to celebrate Release Day!
A Note of Gratitude
