Taylored Expressions & Fancy Pants Designs Day 3
Joan’s Notes: I love nautical themed projects and the FancyPants Nautical papers are no exception!! The sail boat from the Taylored Expressions A Day in Paradise set was the perfect stamp to go along with these papers…it was stamped, cut out, and popped up with foam dots on the FPD tag that was laced through the FPD frame. The FPD buttons and tickets were added along with the sentiments which were cut from a piece of FP Nautical patterned paper. The hemp cording for the buttons finishes it off.
Joan’s Notes: My page features my grandson, Cody. He has always been such a *wild thing* and when I saw the Be Different papers, I knew they would be perfect for his scrapbook page. I have lots of little boys in my family and the Be Different papers are just the thing for their cards and scrapbook pages! I love the bright colors and cute images…..so fun for little boys!! The Taylored Expressions May Script die and the Chunky #’s and Alpha were just perfect to document Cody’s name and the date. I also used the graphic stamp from Taylored Expressions You’re My Hero set for a little texture on the black background paper. The little monsters from one of the papers from the Be Different collection were cut out and popped up for some fun details and the arrow from the Taylored Expressions P&P Essentials 3×4 set finishes it off.
Kerri’s Notes: I absolutely love the Be Different line! The papers are so perfect for masculine projects.
I decided to use the adorable Taylored Expressions stamp set Far Out
for my image and I cut it out using a Robots die. I chose some of the
Be Different Big Star and Focused patterned designer paper. I also used several of
the distressed solid colors that come with this line. To finish off my
card I used one of the fabulous Label Stickers for the sentiment. So
much fun!
Pants As You Wish line. I cut my bag using the Sack it to You Die from
Taylored Expressions. I then decorated it using the Quilt Work and
World Travels designer paper. I added a sentiment from the TE stamp set Sunshiny
Day and stamped it onto a TE Banner Stacklets 1 die. I covered the end
of the banner with a darling button from the As You Wish Button Set and
called it complete! So quick and easy and I just love the colors!
Taylor’s Notes: My card project was inspired by the sentiment that I cut from one of the striped papers in the Nautical 6×6 Paper Pad. I thought it would pair perfectly with the TE Plane Awesome petite stamp set and coordinating dies. And I love using patriotic colors for little boy cards!
