Guest Blogger: Kimberly Crawford Day 2
The lovely and talented Kimberly Crawford is back with us today for her second Guest Blogger post and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Kimberly created an amazing party ensemble for us using our Party Monsters stamp set and today we’ve got the next installment to share with you!
Kimberly’s Notes: Now that the invitation is out, it’s time to decorate for the monster party! These three ideas are cute and the fantastic stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions make creating them easy!
Cupcake Wraps & Picks
Instructions:
- Die cut patterned paper with Cupcake Wrapper. Assemble.
- Die cut various Birthday Treat Toppers images from cardstock, cutting the same images twice from different colors.
- Add interest to the images by trimming away parts and layering them. (See eat cake topper.)
- Back each topper with a circle of cork paper.
- Apply glue to a tooth pick and place it on the back of the topper. Set aside to dry.
Supplies: TE223 Cupcake Wrap; TE214 Birthday Treat Toppers; Cardstock; Patterned paper; Cork; Tooth Picks
Monster Lantern Garland
Instructions:
- Stamp three different Party Monsters images onto cardstock. Color with markers. Trim out.
- Stamp From Me To You label image onto cardstock with red ink. Die cut with coordinating die. Make three labels.
- Stamp Party Monsters sentiment onto label images.
- Die cut Party Banner border from cardstock. Adhere one banner to each lantern.
- Adhere a label and monster to each lantern.
- Tie lanterns to twine.
Kimberly’s Tip: Tie each lantern individually to a longer piece of twine for hanging. This will allow you to have more control over which way the lantern hangs.
