Cuppie & Friends Farewell Party – Day 1
Good morning & Happy Monday! In September 2008, Taylored Expressions began with three stamp sets illustrated by Jessie Oleson featuring a sweet little cupcake who soon became affectionately known as ‘Cuppie’.
Since then, we have released more than 500 stamp sets! And while Cuppie (and his illustrator Jessie) will always hold a special place in my heart, it’s time for us to bid farewell to Cuppie and make room for some new favorites.
Join us the rest of this week as we share a blast from the past with inspiration using stamp sets featuring Cuppie as well as some of our other ‘oldies but goodies’ along with daily giveaways and a great deal on more than 75 retiring stamp sets. You’ll definitely want to get ’em now before they’re gone for good!
I hope I’m not alone in the fact that I love a helpful checklist! So we’ve created a checklist for you to make your lists and check them twice before placing your order.
Anybody curious as to what our most popular Cuppie stamp set has been? Drumroll please…. it’s the original Trick or Sweet! I still remember brainstorming this idea with Jessie. We were sitting at dinner with our husbands and I think they thought we were crazy as we discussed a cupcake dressed as a mummy, pumpkin, vampire, ghost, and more! I had such a sweet sense of nostalgia as I pulled up my old ‘Cuppie’ files on my computer and found these favorites to share with you today:
This was a birthday invitation and party favor that I created to show how the set could be used for occasions outside of Halloween too!
And on this one I paired the cute pumpkin Cuppie with the haunted house from the Frightful Night stamp set. I remember having so much fun paper piecing the house and adding the black glittery touches to the roof and door!
Coming in a close second for all-time favorite Cuppie stamps is Crafty Cuppie! It combines two things I love… crafts and cupcakes! Here’s one my favorite projects:
We have released over 30 Cuppie stamp sets through the years, but this next one ranks up there in my favorites! It’s Cuppie Love Scenes. Here’s are a few of my favorite projects created by some of our fabulous Baker’s Dozen Alumni:
