Blog Design Team: Clean & Simple with a Bow on Top
This week is just flying by, crafty friends! Blog Design Team member, Caryn Davies has created a lovely Clean & Simple card that is quick and easy to make, but oh-so-sweet!
Plus, to help you create your own CAS cards like Caryn’s, we’re giving away the die set Caryn used on her card! Keep reading for details…
Caryn’s Notes: Hello folks! It’s Caryn here with a card that embraces white space,
clean lines and crisp edges.
Caryn’s Notes: I started with a white card base measuring
4.25″ x 5.5″. I then used Banner Stacklets 1 set and cut one banner from aqua card stock and a smaller one from white
to give a simple layered look. I cut the white banner shorter and
stamped one of the gorgeous sentiments from Big Bold Birthday in black
ink.
Caryn’s Notes: To tie in the color scheme I colored the top of the word “day”
in a complimentary Copic marker. I adhered the white sentiment banner to
the aqua banner leaving a 1.5″ gap to the top. Using the Mini Mix and
Match Bows I die cut one of the larger bows from a coordinating
patterned paper and glued this to the top of the white banner finishing
with a small aqua button and some Doodlebug Sprinkles for some extra
bling.
Thank you, Caryn, for sharing how simple can be sweet! Tune back in tomorrow for a fresh floral card by Guest Designer Michelle Woerner!
