So there you have our products for today, and on to the really fun part… the inspiration! For my first project I used the new Love is the Solution stamps and coordinating dies to create this card:
I started by stamping the beaker and flask, coloring them with Copics, and die cutting them with the coordinating dies. I like to lay out my card before gluing any pieces down so I found a spot where I liked them and began stamping the other elements.
I used Memento Grey Flannel and Rose Bud inks and Broken China Distress Ink. When I was all finished I though it needed just a little something else and Sprinkles came to the rescue!
For my second project I pulled out the Pieces of my Heart stamp set that comes with a coordinating heart die that’s cut into puzzle pieces. I have so many different ideas for this die and with all of the unique sentiments make it versatile for lots of occasions. Here’s what I came up with for my first go with this set:
I started by coloring a piece of white paper with Copic marker in imperfect diagonal stripes. Then I die cut the heart puzzle from my striped paper separating one piece from the bottom left.
I used the postage stamp stacklet cut from silver sparkle paper to frame the puzzle piece and added the little XOXO to the bottom right using the Little Bits – Love Confetti dies.
For my last project I used the simple adorable Valentine Grumplings. Just like our Party Grumplings, these guys totally make me smile. The expressions on their faces to go along with those sentiments… priceless! Here’s the card I made (and I’m pretty sure this one’s going to Jon for Valentine’s Day!):
Haha… this sentiment is so very true! I started by picking out the patterned paper (Pink Paislee Pen Pals) and then coloring/paper piecing the grumpling to match.
I pulled out my previously released Jumbo Heart Border die because I knew it’d come in handy with all the new lovey products for this release and it seemed to fit this card pretty well. To finish it off I added a few red arrow Sprinkles at top and bottom.
