Introducing:
Tag-a-Long Easter (and Coordinating Dies)
Build a Tag 3
Egg Stacklets
Skinny Mini Borders 2
Sack It – Lamb
You’ve Been Framed – Spring
Each year I fill an Easter basket with goodies for our girls… a few chocolate eggs, a book, a little toy, a few more chocolate eggs. *wink* I like to make a special tag to tie on the Easter basket so I thought the newest Build a Tag die set and Tag-A-Long stamp set gave me the perfect opportunity to get a head start!
I’ve been on a bit of a ‘shaker’ kick since last fall and I enjoy finding ways to incorporate our sequins into shakers. I used the smaller rectangle to cut a frame inside the larger scalloped rectangle. I adhered transparency over the open portion of the frame and then added two layers of foam tape around the opening. Before popping it up on the tag I stamped and colored the chicks to fit inside the window.
I added Sprinkles to each scallop at the bottom of the tag and then also added one of the flower Sprinkle Shapes to the edge of the frame.
For my next project I decided to make a spring/Easter card. I’ve been excited to decorate the new Egg Stacklets with Skinny Mini Borders 2 so that’s where this card started.
After decorating the egg, I envisioned the bunny from the Tag-A-Long set in an egg garden. So I die cut grass borders and several smaller eggs and began arranging the scene. I popped up the bottom layer of grass, the bunny, and the swirly clouds on foam tape.
After adhering all of the pieces to the card base I used the Wedding Dress Pico Embellisher to add details to the smaller eggs. This card was really easy and it makes me smile… double bonus!
Thanks so much for tuning in for our last day of sneak peeks before all of the new products are available. Leave a comment for your chance to win the new Egg Stacklets and we’ll see you back here tomorrow for the release! In the meantime, make sure you check out the projects from the Baker’s Dozen today and leave ’em some love!
