Blog Design Team: Tiptoe Through the Tulips
We hope you are enjoying your weekend, crafty friends! With Easter just around the corner, Blog Team Designer Wanda Guess is inspiring us with a beautiful card filled with Easter blessings. We hope that you will get into your craft space today and make something joyful!
Wanda’s Notes: I love green and lilac for Spring and Easter, so for this card I used
those two colors with a pretty cream neutral to create an elegant card. I
think the new Floral Lattice Cutting Plate is just so classy and pretty.
Wanda’s Notes: I layered my cream die cut over some
green paper to create a garden effect. Then I had fun making tulips for
the bottom of my card with the Tiptoe Through the Tulips dies.
Wanda’s Notes: I used two different shades
of green to make my layers pop a little bit. You can see that I cut out
sections of tulips and raised part of them with some foam squares too –
for more dimension.
Wanda’s Notes: Whenever I think of Easter I think of everyone all
dressed up for church in their hats and floral dresses and bows. That
made me think of adding a pretty mini bow and some pearls to complete
my card.
Wanda’s Notes: This card would be fun to make in all different colors and with
different flowers. I hope I’ve inspired you to make a Spring project
today!
