Blog Design Team: Sending You Love
Today Blog Design Team member Amy Kolling is sharing an absolutely darling shaped card with us! Check it out below…
Now, let’s hear from Amy about her project…
I love shaped cards. Using your dies makes this so easy to do! The Stacklets collection of dies is
perfect to use for a shaped card.
I began with the Postage Stamp Stacklets and
used the largest in my Big Shot to make my folded notecard. To do
this, place your folded cardstock just under the top cutting edge and
die-cut. Using the same large Postage Stamp Stacklet, I diecut one
single Postage Stamp out of pink cardstock and adhered this to my top
folding “postage stamp” notecard. I then diecut the next smaller
Postage Stamp Stacklet in Sugar Cube Cardstock.
I stamped
my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring my flowers (from
Pocketful of Sunshine) with Copics. The tiny pocket die is included
with the Pocketful of Sunshine Stamp Set and Die Combo.
To soften the stitching, I drew a line over the stitching with a white
pigment pen and blended it in. This panel was adhered with foam
adhesive.
One tiny heart was die-cut using the Hearts A Flutter Cutting Plate and adhered with foam adhesive and coated with glitter glue.
Thanks so much, Amy, for sharing this sweet shaped card with us today! You can catch more of Amy’s design work on her blog, Stamp-n-Paradise. Have a joyful day!
