Blog Design Team: To You and Yours
Happy Christmas Eve, crafty friends! We hope you are having a lovely day. Today, Blog Design Team member Kay Miller has created a gorgeous (and quick!) card that sums up the beauty of this holiday season! Check it out…
Let’s hear from Kay about her project…
Hello! Have you gotten all of your Christmas shopping done? Are you
ready for the big day? I guess the biggest question should be, are your
cards all done? (wink!) Well, just in case you have a few more you need to make for Christmas, here’s a quick and easy one you can
put together pretty fast. (But it will look like you spent hours!)I sponged some blue dye ink into the center of a piece of white cardstock for a subtle background, then stamped my sentiment below. I
trimmed this panel down to 5-1/4 x 4 inches and mounted it onto a
white horizontal card base.I then cut my greenery out with the Bloomers
Greenery die set and Pea Pod and Granny Smith cardstock. I cut the
snowflake out with Sugar Cube and the flower with Cherry Pop. I
glued the greenery flat down to the card base with just a bit of glue on
the stem parts. After I got all my die-cuts arranged and glued down, I layered
the snowflake and flower onto the greenery with some foam tape.Big Holiday wishes to you!
Thank you so much, Kay, for sharing this beautiful card with us today. Be sure to visit Kay on her blog, My Joyful Moments, for more of her gorgeous work.
Before you go, we’d like to leave you with a Christmas greeting from the TE Team! May your holidays be merry, safe, and joyful!
